About Gwenn
Gwenn Neuteboom (Vlaardingen, 1981). After my high school period I got my doctorate degree at the University of Utrecht in Modern Dutch Literature. After that I was a chef for a number of years, but because the hospitality industry started to bore me, I went back to school to follow the teacher training at UU. After working in education for seven years as a Dutch teacher, I decided it was finally time to do something that I enjoy: tattooing.

Tattoos, drawing and art have always taken up an important place in my life. I got my first tattoo when I was sixteen and dozens would follow. I started as a (GGD-approved) home tattoo artist, but after some time got the chance to further develop my tattooing technique at Lady Luck Tattoo in Weert under the watchful eye of Mayke Cuijvers. In 2020 I decided to start for myself and founded Abattoir in the Bierstraat here in Rotterdam.
I specialize in blackwork, dotwork, traditional/old-school. I love doing skulls and tattoos with extreme contrast.

Let me know your ideas. Be as thorough as you can: size, placement, reasons why, etc.
I'm always open to brainstorm about your tattoo if you're not sure about the design or placement. Looking forward to working with you!
